The RIVA pergola is perfect for extending your outdoor experience. Thanks to the tilting double-layer louvres, you can create a sheltered environment and then open your louvred roof when the sun comes out. This allows you to make full use of your outdoor space even when the weather is not ideal. Add a pull down blind or a louvred side wall to add extra privacy and also provide further shelter from the elements. Please note that if you plan to purchase one of our privacy screens or Louvre side walls (sold separately) you will need to drill into the pergola top beam and legs in order to attach these securely.

When the roof is closed rainwater is directed into the drainage grooves on the roof louvres, from there the water flows into the main beam gutter and down the inside of the pergola legs to the ground.

The RIVA pergola will require assembly, and we recommend 2-3 people to safely lift and assembly the pergola. Assembly is not complicated as your RIVA pergola is semi-constructed with the louvre drive gear and lift arm assembly pre-installed in the main top beam. In simply terms, screw the feet to the legs, bolt the legs to the top beams and install the louvres to the top beam. Unlike other pergola kits the RIVA pergola only requires four screws to secure the feet to the legs and then two screws per louvre to hold the push in louvre end caps in place. The rest of the fittings either snap into place or simply hook in and tighten the bolts with the ratchet spanner which is provided in the pack.
